- This course is designed for data base administrators who
intend to use ORACLE data base management system under
UNIX operating system. The users can access the system by
terminals or by personal computers with MS-DOS, Windows
and TCP/IP. The course give the students the base
knowledge to administrate Oracle data base.
Prerequisites:
- Students need experience in use of computers with an UNIX
operating system, data base general knowledge SQL/ORACLE
and PL/SQL programming.
Course Description:
- This course deals with base knowledge in Oracle data base
administration using the facilities of SQL language and
SQL*Plus environment. Also are presented the main tools
for ORACLE data base administration.
- The course is a recommended prerequisite for the study of
advanced ORACLE administration topics.
