Overview

This course is an overview of the significant user-level, system and network differences from Version 4.0 of the operating system and an overview of the Tru64 UNIX V5.0 TruCluster product. To enable substantial hands on experience the course will be run over a 5 day period allowing at least 2 days lab work.

Who should attend

This course is intended for system and network managers, as well as support personnel who are familiar with Tru64 UNIX V4 and TruCluster V1.4 or later.

Prerequisites

To get the most from this course, the student should be able to install and configure Tru64 UNIX V4 and TruCluster V1.4 or later. This is not an entry level course in Tru64 UNIX. The following courses in the V4 curriculum may be considered as prerequisite knowledge.
