Overview
UNIX Utilities and Commands is an entry-level course designed to provide training for users who require the fundamental skills needed to become productive using a UNIX type operating system, including Compaq Tru64 UNIX, UNIX System V, or a BSD-based system such as ULTRIX.
The concepts presented in this course are suitable for users of any UNIX environment, and prepare you to use the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) and the Korn shell on any UNIX based operating system. The examples, exercises, and solutions are based on a Tru64 UNIX Version 5.x system using CDE and the Korn shell.
