Bucharest, – October 20, 1998 – ComputerLand Romania today announced that it has been named a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center (CTEC).

Bucharest, – August 15, 1998 – ComputerLand Romania today announced that it has been named a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider (MCSP). 

As part of the MCSP community, ComputerLand Romania has reinforced its credibility as a provider of top-of-the-line business solutions for individual departments and entire enterprises.

As a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider, ComputerLand Romania joins several other independent organizations working with Microsoft – including a wide range of companies such as system integrators, custom application developers, installation and deployment service providers, business consultants, and training organizations. MCSPs add value by offering their customers a full range of services, including Internet, intranet and e-commerce solutions, line-of-business applications, and client/server implementations.

Dan Golesteanu, General Manager of ComputerLand Romania, believes the acceptance by Microsoft will help move ComputerLand Romania to the forefront of the document management industries. "This year, we have experienced record growth," said Dan. "Becoming a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider will help us maintain our momentum in the marketplace through the rest of 1998 and into 1999. ComputerLand Romania is evolving quickly, and you can expect major announcements from us in the near future."

According to Microsoft, ComputerLand Romania was selected as an MCSP because of its demonstrated expertise with Microsoft products. ComputerLand Romania also had to meet certain minimum requirements set by Microsoft, including having at least two Microsoft Certified Professionals on staff and deriving at least 15 percent of corporate revenue from technical services provided to third parties.  

Dan expects ComputerLand Romania’s five Microsoft Certified Professionals and three Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers to effectively help ComputerLand Romania’s end-users maximize their technology investments on the Windows and Windows NT platforms. "Because the quality of our service has been recognized by Microsoft, we have seen our credibility among targeted vertical markets dramatically increase," said Dan. "As organizations prepare their IT systems for the coming millennium, they don’t want to take any chances. Microsoft Certified Solution Providers carry the credentials and offer the in-depth knowledge and solutions to meet the increasing IT demands."
